Chamomix is a popular resort along the foot of Mont Blanc in the French Alps. It is noted to host the 1st winter Olympic Games in the year 1924. A small railway line and highway connects Chamomix to the valley. There is also a tunnel under Mont Blanc that connects it to Courmayeur, Italy and Martigny, Switzerland.
