What you will eat here is absolutely straight from the sea fresh fish, which was in the water that day, and local beef and chicken of good quality.
On the menu on a day you might find Fresh Conch cooked in lime, or jumbo shrimp in spiced chilli coconut sauce. Perhaps grilled pork chops or ‘surf and turf’, or even lobster tails. The food is good.
Because of the positioning of the Tranquility Bay Resort there is an enormous number of things to do if you bore of the beautiful beach, and the sunshine. As a base for fishing, snorkelling, sailing or scuba diving, you will find all you need virtually at your front door, and the sports staff will look after everything for you. Why not sail a Hobie Cat, or try kayaking, or windsurfing because everything you need is available, which includes snorkelling gear.
The Tranquility Bay Resort is a great spot for a Belize honeymoon, and you will be incredibly well looked after from the moment you are met off the plane, taken to the boat you will be made to feel very special, and what could be more romantic than being accompanied by frolicking dolphins as you make the short crossing.
You will find of all the hotels on Ambergris Caye, that the The Tranquility Bay Resort has one of the best, if not the best situations in terms of views and swimming, which by the way is in a clear turquoise sea, positively teeming with fish. The great thing about snorkelling here, is that you can take a kayak out to the reef quite easily, then tie it up, and snorkel to your heart’s content.
Not only does the personal care and attention make this Belize hotel perfect for a honeymoon, the activities make for a great belize family vacation, and of course the two bedroom cabanas make for great family accommodation.
