There are also age restrictions in some visa application. For one to get a working holiday visa, he or she must be within an age limit of 18 31 years. People outside this age limit have to apply for a different type of visa in order to be given entry permission.
People wanting to study can take a student visa. This visa has numerous requirements to be met among them, a letter confirming that you have been admitted to the institute which you are going to attend. The student must also purchase oversees students health insurance to cover his or her medical expenses while in the country.
You are expected to have a return ticket to your home country and of course a passport. Other visa holders wishing to study while holding a different type of visa can only are allowed if the course they enroll in takes a maximum of three months.
Visa Australia takes different lengths of time to process. The Electronic Travel Authority makes it faster to apply for visas while others take from 48 hours upwards, depending on the season and number of applicants. One is strongly advised to ensure that he or she has successfully obtained a visa before making any travel arrangements.
